Please restart your PC, ensure all active applications are closed - then reinstall 'MFL-Pro Suite.' I click yes and then within the Brother MFL-Pro Suite InstallShield Wizard I get the message 'An error occured during the installation. Do you want to uninstall and then proceed with installation?' When I try to install it, I get the message that 'MFL-Pro Suite is already installed. Now that Brother has 64-bit Windows 7 compatible software and drivers available, I'm having trouble installing it. Plus I wasn't able to set it up as a shared printer so other family members on our home network could print to this device. It did work perfectly - IĬould print but not scan.
When I bought my new 64-bit Windows PC, Brother didn't have any Windows 7 drivers, so I used the original (Windows XP) software to get the device up and running. I have a Brother MFC-9440CN multi-function printer/fax/scanner.
